Great work, Ben. As an SEO novice, I do have a couple of questions which have built up since the start of the lessons.

The Logo seems to get lost, colour-wise in the bg of the page. Does the logo have ANY SEO value and, if yes, does it need to be made more visible for SEO (I understand it does for basic design)

Most everything done has been on desktop view. How does SEO change on mobile sites? Obviously, larger paragraphs of text don't work as well in phones and I tend to cut back on phone displays. Will hiding some of that affect my SEO or is it measure only on desktop.

Everything has some value, so yes. But it's not a major factor. Follow the advice in the videos and ensure you set the alt text / link title :)

I'm not 100% sure what you mean by "How does SEO change on mobile sites?" — the site we build in this series is responsive, there's no separate mobile site. I wouldn't recommend you build separate mobile sites.

That's a difficult question to answer — as with most SEO questions: it depends.

It depends on the content, layout, design, (and more) of you site.

Search Engines are getting smarter, so hidden content on your site most likely won't be taken in to account when indexing your pages.

My advice would be: don't cut back on content just because the visitor is on a mobile — they still want the same information as a desktop visitor. Obviously you could tighten up the layout (columns/padding/margin) on mobile, but don't remove important content just because it's mobile.
